Tech Talk with Hawke was a twice weekly (now periodically available as new podcasts) radio broadcast discussing topics related to the effects of technology and it's impact on privacy, security, and civil rights. There are still occasional live broddcasts, or if you miss the live broadcasts, you can download from the Show Archives. Tech Talk with Hawke is a weekly broadcast that attempts to introduce and update the general public on the constantly changing world of technology, and how tech affects most everyone in their daily lives. This show provides a strong emphasis on reporting news that impacts privacy, security, or civil rights. This is a non-commercial show. There is also some emphasis on alternative platforms, software, and technologies that many people either have not heard about, or know little about, because of lack of discussion in the "mainstream media". Alternatives such as open source software products, operating systems options, and approaches to daily living when interfacing with the now ever-pervasive impact of technology in much of the world.
